Each Mino Raincoat is a remarkable piece of traditional Japanese craftsmanship. Handmade in the 1960s, the coat is woven from rice straw, a material once commonly used by rural farmers across Japan, Korea, and China for it's natural water-repellent properties. Functional in its time, and beautifully sculptural now, each coat is one-of-a-kind and carries the quiet strength of everyday objects made by hand.
