Considerations:

✓ Vintage

✓ Handcrafted

✓ One of a kind

Each Mino Raincoat is a remarkable piece of traditional Japanese craftsmanship. Handmade during the Showa Period in the 1930s, the coat is woven from rice straw and linden bark, materials once commonly used by rural farmers across Japan, Korea, and China for their natural water-repellent properties. Functional in its time, and beautifully sculptural now, each coat is one-of-a-kind and carries the quiet strength of everyday objects made by hand.
