One of a kind Mid Century sculpture by New York artist Archibald Miller. The bronze sculpture is a lost wax casting depicting  Eve, mounted on a wood plinth. Miller was an artist who worked in the 1960s and 1970s in New York. In the mid 1960s he was selected to produce large scale public art around Rochester, New York. He was amongst contributing artists Harry Bertoia and Henry Moore. Miller erected a reinforced concrete sculpture on the River Boulevard, which earned him the 1966 Fairchild award. The Lillian Fairchild Award was given to the finest contributions to art and literature by a citizen of the Rochester from 1924-74. Signed in casting. Original gallery information taped on the bottom of the plinth. One of a kind.
