Suki Folk Textile, 5 Panel

One of our favorite vintage finds. The Suki Folk Textile is a one of a kind Early 20th Century Japanese five panel sakiori folk textile with incredible colors. The sakiori technique is produced by weaving vintage and antique fabrics into a new textile. This particular textile is backed with an indigo dyed boro cloth and filled with batten fill and finished with sashiko. The textile is thick and heavy enough to function as a rug, but due to the unique backing and fill we recommend styling on the back of a sofa or the end of a bed. One of a kind.
