Original Painting of a Prairie Warble by Bertram Bruestle (1902-1968). Bruestle lived in Connecticut and New York and known for landscapes and wildlife paintings. The painting which was likely form the 1030's, is done with gouache on paper, and is signed in the lower left. It is matted with an ivory mat with a gold detail, and framed in a gilded wooden frame. There is some spotting on art (see photos). One of a kind.
