The Paddington Patchwork Quilt is a traditional hand made quilt, made with a variety of cotton, wool, flannel and corduroy fabrics. The design features a playful arrangement of patterned period fabrics in a patchwork pattern. The style of quilting is made by arranging textile remnants into graphic layout of squares and rectangles. The palette is made up of bold colors of fire red, hunter green, Violet, Maroon and shades of grey, brown and black on an bright foundation of patterned white fabrics. The quilt has a white cotton backing. The quilt is entirely hand sewn estimated to be from the mid 1900s. One of a kind.
