Mino Raincoat, Seven
Considerations:
✓ Vintage
✓ Handcrafted
One of our favorite vintage finds. The Mino Raincoat is an incredible piece from Japan, handmade durning the Showa Period in the 1930s. The raincoat is hand-knitted out of rice straw and Linden Bark. Rain coats were traditionally woven out of rice straw due its its natural water-repellant qualities by rural farmers in Japan, Korea and China. The raincoat is a beautiful piece of time-honored craft and can be hung on a wall as art. One of a kind.
