One of our favorite vintage finds. This elegant 1950s Desert Fukusa Cloth. Furoshiki cloth are traditional Japanese cloth used to wrap and cary objects, the cloth was a means to reuse and not discard unnecessary materials. Fukusa cloth can be used to wrap gifts, cary lunch for a picnic or wrap items for storage. We appreciate the sustainable approach to finding beauty in everyday reusable objects. Due to the nature of these traditional textiles, there may be areas with wear, staining, and holes. We feel these imperfections help to tell the history of the piece. One of a kind.
