Driftwood Log Cabin Quilt
Considerations:
✓ Vintage
✓ Handcrafted
✓ Made in the USA
The Driftwood Log Cabin Quilt is a traditional hand made quilt, made with a variety of cotton fabrics. The design features an elegant arrangement of fabrics in the traditional cabin style made popular in 1863, to help raise funds for the Union Army during the American Civil War. It was thought to be in honor of Abraham Lincoln, who grew up in a log cabin. The colors range from soft neutrals, to earthy browns, creams, and slate blue. It also has a bold floral pattered backing that can also be seen on the binding, along the edges of the quilt. Crafted with great care by professional quilter, B. Hutton of Maine from hundreds of one inch squares, this quilt is new and has never been used. One of a kind.
