Pomme Kantha Throw, Gold Metallic

This one of a kind Kantha quilt is one of our favorite recent finds- This Kantha quilt, woven with shiny gold thread, adds a warm shimmer to any room. Kantha cloth are a traditional Indian craft created by up-cycling fabrics over generations. Due to the nature of these traditional textiles, there may be areas with wear, staining, and holes. The cloth is created by patching and mending layers of handwoven antique and vintage textile remnants. Kanthas are then hand stitched to reinforce the layers. Overtime the quilt will wear, revealing layers of fabrics below. The Pomme Kantha Throw is block printed with floral motifs on top  of hand-stitched fabrics. One of a kind.
