The Sun & Sands Kantha Throw is thoughtfully handcrafted in India. Kanthas are a traditional Indian craft created by up-cycling fabrics over generations. Due to the nature of these traditional textiles, there may be areas with wear, staining, and holes. The cloth is created by patching and mending layers of handwoven antique and vintage textile remnants. Kanthas are then hand stitched to reinforce the layers. Overtime the quilt will wear, revealing layers of fabrics below. The Sun & Sands Kantha Throw is block printed with floral motifs, and hand-stitched with a variety of patchwork fabrics. Checked patterns combined with floral prints create a one of a kind throw. One of a kind.
