A playful ceramic vase, expertly crafted by a California artist, Jenny Mulder. Jenny's work is made with an eye for traditional methods of craft. Influenced by narrative, absurdism, humor and pleasure, the work is playful and possesses a refined and sensitive creativity.
The vase is thrown on a wheel, and clay is added by hand to create an organic texture. The clay is applied in parts, which created surface level spaces between sections. The vase is left mostly unglazed, but warm neutral glazes are playfully hand applied in an all over pattern. One of a kind.
