A distinctive midcentury Swedish oil painting.  The work is titled Bergslagen, after the hilly region in central Sweden known for its deep forests, and lakes. The composition depicts a landscape with painterly confidence and tonal richness with a color pallet in shades of water tones from lake blue to cerulean with warm sand shadows. Signed by the artist and presented in its original gilded frame, the work is in good vintage condition, showing gentle signs of age consistent with its authenticity.  One of a kind.
