Japanese Folk Bird Dish

This blackened brass dish is cast in Japan using the lost-wax method and features etched Japanese folk art bird motifs. The blackened finish contrasts with exposed brass along the edges and design, revealing the natural metal beneath.

Available in two sizes, the dish can function as a catchall, tray, or soap dish. The unlacquered brass will continue to patina with use, particularly in damp environments. One of a kind.
