Deep Lake, Overshot Coverlet
Considerations:
✓ Handcrafted
✓ Vintage
✓ One of a kind
We love an Overshot Coverlet. These time-honored designs are a historical Americana pattern traditionally woven by female weavers in the late 18th and early 19th Century. Each coverlet is one of a kind, and they were traditionally woven with red, white and blue color ways. The coverlets were woven on home looms, and constructed with two or three panels, stitched together. One of a kind.
This piece is blue on one side with white details, and white with blue details on the reverse. Finished with fringe along all sides except the bottom
