Vintage Suiting Quilt

This vintage Wool Suiting Quilt is made from repurposed wool suiting fabrics once used for tailored garments. A practice with origins in the late 19th century, this method of quilting produced blankets valued for their warmth and durability. This example features panels in navy, plum, and ivory tones with a navy and burnt orange plaid backing. One of a kind.
