Juniper Berry Log Cabin Quilt
Considerations:
✓ Vintage
✓ Handcrafted
✓ Made in the USA
Hand-pieced and hand-quilted in the 1860s, this textile features the Courthouse Steps variation of the traditional Log Cabin pattern, an arrangement originally made popular during the American Civil War to help raise funds for the Union Army. Each block centers around a velvet square, surrounded by alternating strips of vintage and antique fabrics. The front displays a mix of bold and earthy tones, including red, navy, sky blue, ecru, brown, and black. The reverse features a patchwork composition of slate, sangria, navy, pink, grass, and floral prints. Double-sided and one of a kind.
