Mino Raincoat, Eight

$2,000.00

Considerations:

✓ Vintage

✓ Handcrafted

One of our favorite vintage Minos due to its warm red chestnut color! The Mino Raincoat is an incredible piece from Japan, handmade durning the Showa Period in the 1930s. The raincoat is hand-knitted out of rice straw and Linden Bark. Rain coats were traditionally woven out of rice straw due its its natural water-repellant qualities by rural farmers in Japan, Korea and China. The raincoat is a beautiful piece of time-honored craft and can be hung on a wall as art. One of a kind.
