One of our favorite vintage finds. The Candlesticks are a MET Museum reproduction of the iconic 1755 silver work by Myer Myers. Myers was a famous Jewish silver workin in Manhattan, New York in the late 1700s working in the domestic Rococo style. You can see the original pieces here Metropolitan Museum of Art. These silver plated reproductions pieces have an elegant patina. The bottom plate is engraved with the following- Metropolitan Museum of Art Reproductions by Gorham | Myer Myers | New York | About 1759. Sold as a set of 2.
