Ocean Kantha Quilt

This one of a kind kantha quilt is one of our favorite time-honored designs. The Ocean Kantha Throw features floral motifs over hand-stitched patchwork. Kantha cloth are a traditional Indian craft created by up-cycling fabrics over generations. Due to the nature of these traditional textiles, there may be areas with wear, staining, and holes. The cloth is created by patching and mending layers of handwoven antique and vintage textile remnants. Kanthas are then hand stitched to reinforce the layers. Overtime the quilt will wear, revealing layers of fabrics below. One of a kind.
