Poppy Quilt Pillows
Considerations:

✓ Made in the USA
The Poppy Quilt Pillows are handcrafted from a reclaimed quilt. The original quilt features a playful arrangement of fabrics in the traditional log cabin style. These quilts were made popular in 1863, to help raise funds for the Union Army during the American Civil War. Log Cabin quilts are made with a central square, surrounded by smaller strips of fabric which symbolize the logs. A central square that is red represents the hearth, which is a place of warmth and activity in a log cabin. A yellow center represents a welcoming light in a window. A Log Cabin quilt with a black center hanging on a clothesline was meant to signal a stop on the Underground Railroad. These pillows are handmade by a textile preservation artisan in the United States. The pillows feature a knife edge and invisible YKK zipper. The set comes with one pillow cover and one premium down feather pillow insert. The fabrics used range in color from navy, red, peach, black and pink. One of a kind. Pillow cover only.
