Ren Folk Textiles, Indigo & Chambre

The Ren Folk Textiles are one of a kind Early 20th Century Japanese two panel sakiori textiles. The sakiori technique is produced by weaving vintage and antique fabrics into a new textile. The textile is multi functional and can be used as a rug or as a textile on the back of a sofa or at the end of a bed. Due to the age and use of the textile areas show wear and imperfections. This is one of the best examples of a sakiori we've seen, the weave is very tights and there are little to no imperfections. One of a kind.
