The Story Ottomans are one of our latest designs in collaboration with a furniture craftsman from Texas. The ottomans are made using vintage Turkish handwoven angora mohair Siirt from the 1960s. Siirt are traditional multi functional tightly hand loomed textiles that function as both blankets and rugs. The textiles are traditionally woven at home and depict family names, however the umber color ottoman does not have text. Siirt are upholstered backwards for durability and longevity.
