Wednesday Barn Raising Quilt
✓ Made in the USA
One of our favorite vintage finds to date.
The exquisite Wednesday Barn Raising Quilt is a traditional hand made quilt from the 1880s. Made with a variety of cotton fabrics the hand stitched design features a playful arrangement of patterned period fabrics in the barn raising style made popular in 1800s. The barn raising style is a variation of the iconic log cabin quilt design. The colors feature a high contrast dark earthy palette of black and ecru, with accents of olive, navy, plum and fire red. The quilt has a matching black sateen backing. Produced by a quilter in the Mennonite community. One of a kind.
