Unique handmade folk carved bird sculpture, possibly originally a children’s toy. A two-scale duck with a latch in front to allow the top to rotate open and reveal a small concealed storage area on the lower half. Circa 1920s. Areas of wear are present, as well as areas where the artist's hand can be seen- marks from carving and finishing. A classic folk art piece. One of a kind.
