Colander Ceramic Lamp, Artist's Sample

One of a kind lamp, expertly crafted by a California artist, Jenny Mulder.  Jenny's work is made with an eye for traditional methods of craft. Influenced by narrative, absurdism, humor and pleasure, the work is playful and possesses a refined and sensitive creativity.

The lamp is thrown on a wheel, and wood fired.  During the firing process, the wood ash and vapor travel throughout the kiln imparting the ceramic with unique flashing, patterns and beautiful variations. One of a kind.

This lamp is an artist's sample.  It is slightly wobbly.
