Choju Giga Incense

Inspired by Nature and handcrafted in Japan, our Choju Giga Incense feature motifs from the Chōjū-Jinbutsu-Giga, a series of illustrated scrolls from Kyoto, Japan dating back between the 12th and 13th century. The scrolls depict anthropomorphic animals, rabbits, frogs and monkeys acting out everyday life in the late Heian and early Kamakura periods of Japan. With scents of Amber, Myrrh and Japanese Pear these elegant incense sticks have a timeless scent and the playful box adds a bit of charm to any space. Burn time of 15+ minutes.
