Slow Roads x Mainichi Knotting, Chair Pad, Sample

Our Handwoven Patchwork Chair Pads are crafted in collaboration with knotting artist Ikuko Sasamura of Mainichi Knotting, combining timeless Japanese folk patterns with modern earthy colors, designed in partnership with Slow Roads. Each chair pad is hand-woven using 160 high-quality merino wool yarn, custom dyed and twisted in Japan. The chair pads are inspired by techniques learned at the Kurashiki Genuine Dyeing and Textile Hand weave Laboratory. Each pad is meticulously hand knotted tightly to create a plush, carpet-like warmth and smooth texture. We recommend using the chair pads on a wood seat or multiples on a bench or banquet to add a soft layer of comfort. One-of-a-Kind.
