David Silverstein

David Silverstein is a multidisciplinary artist based in Connecticut whose work explores nature, memory, and the handmade object. Inspired by folk art and found objects, his paintings move between expressive florals, still lifes, and sgraffito, often pairing richly layered color with loose, gestural forms.

Each work is painted by hand and framed as an extension of the piece itself, giving the paintings an intimate, collected quality.
