Wild Flower Fields Hooked Rug
Considerations:
✓ Vintage
✓ One of a kind
✓ Handcrafted
The Wild Flower Fields Hooked Rug celebrates the dimensional character of traditional rug hooking, a textile craft in which loops of fiber are pulled through a woven foundation to create a richly textured, raised surface. Once a practical way to repurpose fabric remnants into durable floor coverings, hooked rugs have long held a place in American folk art and domestic design. This exceptionally large example is in great vintage condition, making it a particularly special find. Professionally cleaned. One of a kind.
