Richard Fisher has been making bells in his Mid-Coast Maine studio since the 1970s. Inspired by the idea of combining motion, sound, and sculpture, each bell is sand-cast in bronze and finished with African Mahogany. Designed to mount directly on a door, both indoors or out, it rings gently with movement. When placed outside, it can also serve as a wind bell. The tone is clear and resonant, and the design, both simple and enduring, sits comfortably in traditional and modern spaces alike.
