Nami Boro Quilt

This Nami Boro Quilt, from the Meiji period and inspired by early 20th-century Japanese boro traditions, is a three-panel textile constructed through layered, patched cotton fabrics. Hand-stitched from carefully selected remnants, it carries visible repairs and reinforcements throughout that reflect its history and making. The layered multi-color plaid pattern reveals subtle variations in texture and hue across the surface. Suitable for use as a blanket, bed topper, or table covering. One of a kind.
