The Muzumi Sakiori Boro Rug is one of the best examples of a sakiori textiles we've come across. The piece is in near perfect condition, and features a warm palette reminiscent of Autumn in Japan. Sakiori is a traditional form of Japanese weaving that recycles vintage textiles into a beautifully variegated functional cloth that is used for clothing, obis, rugs and blankets. We recommend using this piece as a rug, or as a bed topper draped at the end of a bed. Produced in the late 1960s. One of a kind.
