Daybreak Triple Irish Chain Quilt

This handmade Daybreak Quilt is pieced from a variety of cotton fabrics in the traditional Triple Irish Chain pattern, a design that gained popularity in the early 19th century. The pattern’s name is thought to reference an “Irish Chain,” or surveying chain, whose linked sections resemble the quilt’s interconnected squares. The front features floral patterned fabrics in shades of red, navy, and pink set against a vintage white ground. The reverse is solid white. One of a kind.
