Our Sea Ranch Sconce is designed and produced by Coe Studios, an architectural lighting and blacksmith studio based in Berkeley, California. The studio has been around since the 1980s, producing heirloom bronze lighting fixtures inspired by the West Coast.
The Sea Ranch Sconces are minimal, natural, and functional, taking design inspiration from the community of Sea Ranch, California, allowing them to blend into any environment. The sconce is made of blackened bronze with a wax finish and is paired with a handblown glass shade blown into a wood mold. The sconce is UL Wet listed and can be used indoors and out.

Sunlight and oils from hands will enhance tarnishing the bronze.

Installation (Small Bracket Only): We recommend consulting a contractor or electrician, as installation requirements vary by junction box and wall material. The Small Bracket Sconce wall bracket measures 3.50" wide and may not fully cover newer junction boxes or openings that are cut oversized or unevenly. If selecting a new junction box, we recommend choosing a 3.50" size and/ or residential jbox.
Proper filling and sealing around the backplate is required to prevent moisture from entering the wall. An additional backplate that layers behind the sconce is available upon request.
UL certification, IP65 rating for wet environments
