Considerations:

✓ Vintage

✓ Handcrafted

✓ One of a kind

The Slow Roads Mother Daughter Quilt Collection, was inspired by one of our favorite vintage pieces. A mother created half of a quilt, which was left unfinished until her daughter completed it decades later. The quilt is a coming together of two sides that represents the connection of two women and their love for each other.

We have collected unfinished antique American quilts that we send to expert crafts people at a workshop in Jaipur, India. Using custom block prints and natural dyes, they finish the quilts using hand tied knots in coordinating colors.

The workshop specializes in high-quality textile handiwork and is women-owned and operated. They support women artisans and handicraft traditions throughout Rajasthan by paying their female workers fair wages, allowing them to manage household expenses. One of a kind.
