Speckled American Redware Crock
Considerations:
✓ Vintage
✓ Handcrafted
✓ One of a kind
This vintage Speckled American Redware Crock is an example of one of the earliest types of pottery made in the American colonies. This simple, utilitarian piece features a tortoise-like design where a copper-glaze covers most of the vessel, but some areas are left with a natural clear glaze. The interior is fully glazed and has a cylindrical shape with a shoulder transitioning to a rounded, galleried rim. Can be used as a crock or vase. One of a kind.
