Autumn Ocean Waves Quilt

This traditional hand-made quilt is constructed from a variety of predominantly cotton fabrics. It features the Ocean Wave pattern, popularized in the 1920s, arranged in a precise, geometric composition. The front palette includes earthy shades of auburn, russet, charcoal, and bark set against a vintage polka-dot red background. The reverse is solid vintage white cotton, framed by a white border. Evidence of hand-stitching and subtle irregularities reflect the maker’s touch. Estimated to date from the 1920s. One of a kind.
