This Chinese folk jar is hand-thrown in Jingdezhen, the historic center of ceramic production in China, and reflects design influences from the Yuan through early Qing dynasties. The surface is decorated with airy cobalt brushwork depicting water and floral motifs, set against a speckled glaze.
