Dog Silhouette Sculpture

This vintage copper hound silhouette is hand-hammered with a flat-profile construction, soldered seams, and a raised head and curved tail. Mounted on a raw wood block base with a brass rod support, the sculpture has the appearance of a salvaged weathervane element repurposed as a tabletop object. The warm copper surface shows natural verdigris developing along the seams and lower legs, with variations in patina and finish throughout. The wood base appears to be a later addition, with visible cracking and age consistent with reclaimed lumber. One of a kind.
