This antique folk art board features hand-carved horse, goose, rabbit, and figure motifs and was likely used as a butter or cookie mold. Dating to the 1800s, the board has developed a rich wood patina with cracking and edge wear consistent with age and generations of use. The reverse relief carving was designed to create raised impressions in butter or dough. One of a kind.
