Mountain Vista Landscape

This vintage offset lithograph reproduces a landscape by American painter Robert William Wood (1889–1979), whose original oils were widely reproduced as framed prints beginning in the 1920s. The composition features a jagged purple mountain peak rising above a rushing rocky river, with golden aspens bringing a vivid autumn palette to the foreground. Presented in an olive green mat, the print reflects the dramatic mountain landscapes for which Wood’s work became widely known. Not an original painting and not one of a kind.
