Vintage Indonesian Batik Cloth

This vintage Indonesian batik cloth is handwoven from cotton and hand-dyed using traditional batik techniques. A richly detailed floral and paisley pattern is rendered in deep indigo and natural cream, with subtle variation in the dye reflecting the handmade process. Decorative rings are sewn along the top, allowing the smaller panel to be displayed as a wall textile or used as a decorative accent cloth. Fading along the edges, as shown in the photos, is consistent with age and adds to the character of the piece. One of a kind.
