This early 20th-century–inspired Boro Cloth is a three-panel textile made using a traditional Japanese technique of layering and patching fabrics. Hand-stitched from carefully selected cotton remnants, it reflects the boro tradition of reusing and mending fabrics over time. The layered, multi-color pattern is indigo-dyed and shows subtle variations in texture and hue. Suitable for use as a blanket, bed topper, or table covering. One of a kind.
